ARRI ALEXA - The perfect tool for creating cinematic images

ARRI's ALEXA camera has set the benchmark for what a digital cinema camera should be. The ALEXA makes it simple to shoot beautiful images—with character often compared to film. The images are rich, with pleasing color, great skin tones, and a smoothness unlike any other camera.

Key Features

35mm sensor
The sensor is the same size as a traditional 35mm negative frame. This makes it possible to have shallow depth of field and use top-shelf PL mount lenses.
800 ASA
The camera excels in dim lighting conditions and produces striking low-noise images.
Fast Edit Workflow
The ALEXA records Prores Quicktime files to an internal SxS card, which means you can be editing in no time.
Dynamic Range
An awesome 14 stops of latitude rivals film capture!
Slow Motion
Up to 60 frames per second in Prores HQ or 40 frames per second in Prores 4:4:4.

Direct to Edit

The camera shoots directly to SxS card in Apple's Prores codec, an industry standard. This makes fast editorial turnarounds possible, because you can begin editing instantly when shooting REC709 gamma. For greater color correction latitude, choose LOG-C gamma and Prores 4:4:4, and allow us to create great-looking dailies.
